Jeff Goldblum And The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra Vienna reviews
major disappointment
A few years ago, I had the pleasure of seeing Jeff Goldblum And The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra perform in LA, and I absolutely loved the show. This time, however, it was a complete letdown. My brother and I were in agreement that it was the most disappointing concert experience we had ever had. It didn't resemble their usual sound at all, and on top of that, we had to endure Conor's political rants. Living in the Bay Area, we are already exposed to a plethora of informed perspectives, so listening to a musician share his opinions seemed unnecessary. While a brief comment or two would have been tolerable, Conor spent a considerable amount of time discussing politics between songs on two separate occasions. This was not what we had paid for. It might have been more forgivable if the music had been enjoyable, but unfortunately, it fell short. If I wanted to listen to another band cover Jeff Goldblum And The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra's music, I would simply head to Youtube.
